Terms of Service

Effective: 24 August 2026.

These Terms govern use of ScreenshotMCP, a commercial website screenshot and page-context service operated under the AgentForge Labs brand. The contracting/selling entity for a paid order is the entity identified in the applicable checkout, order confirmation or invoice. A signed enterprise agreement or order form controls if it expressly conflicts with these Terms.

1. Service

ScreenshotMCP provides developer tools for rendering customer-selected web pages and returning screenshots, Page Context and related artifacts through hosted interfaces such as REST APIs, MCP, CLI, SDKs and a browser-based studio. Features, output formats, retention, quotas and concurrency depend on the selected plan.

2. Your authority over target URLs

You may submit only URLs and content that you are legally authorized to access and process. You are responsible for complying with applicable law, contractual restrictions, website terms, robots or access policies that apply to your activity, and intellectual-property, privacy, database and publicity rights. The ability of our software to technically reach a URL is not a representation that your capture is lawful.

3. Prohibited use

You may not use the service to bypass authentication, paywalls, CAPTCHAs, access controls, anti-bot measures or technical restrictions; obtain credentials or private data without authorization; target private/internal network resources contrary to security controls; distribute malware; perform denial-of-service or abusive high-volume activity; infringe third-party rights; or use captures to facilitate unlawful activity. We may rate-limit, reject or suspend requests that create security, legal or operational risk.

4. Customer inputs and generated artifacts

You retain rights you hold in submitted URLs, configuration and other Customer Content. You grant us a limited right to retrieve, render, cache, transform, store and transmit Customer Content and generated screenshots/context only as needed to provide, secure and support the service, follow your configuration and meet legal obligations. Generated screenshots may contain third-party copyrighted, trademarked or personal content; receiving an artifact does not transfer ownership or grant a license to the underlying third-party content.

5. Accounts and credentials

You are responsible for safeguarding API keys, MCP credentials, account access and any secrets used with authenticated targets. Do not expose credentials in public source code, logs, prompts or client-side applications. Notify us through the support channel shown in your account or purchase receipt if you reasonably believe an account or credential has been compromised.

6. Usage limits and caching

Plans may include limits on screenshots, requests, concurrency, target size, execution time, artifact retention and cache behavior. Successful captures may be cached according to product configuration or plan settings. Attempts to evade quotas, create excessive load or interfere with metering are prohibited. Usage is measured by our service records unless a written order states otherwise.

7. Billing, renewal and taxes

Prices and billing intervals are shown at checkout. Recurring subscriptions renew until cancelled. Dodo Payments, Lemon Squeezy or another disclosed payment provider may handle checkout, taxes, receipts, refunds and payment credentials. We do not store full payment-card details. Price changes apply prospectively and, where required, after appropriate notice.

8. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel future renewal through available account or payment-provider controls. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid term. Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy and does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

9. Third-party websites and services

Target websites, DNS providers, networks, browsers and other third-party services are outside our control and may block automation, change markup, return different content, impose rate limits or become unavailable. We are not responsible for third-party terms, content, security or availability. You must not represent that ScreenshotMCP's ability to render a site implies endorsement by or affiliation with that site.

10. Intellectual property

Except for Customer Content and third-party/open-source materials, the commercial service, website, designs, documentation and related technology are owned by AgentForge Labs or its licensors. Open-source components remain subject to their licenses. No rights are granted except those necessary to use the service under these Terms.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, block targets, restrict concurrency or terminate access where reasonably necessary for non-payment, abuse, a security incident, legal compliance, material breach, infringement complaints or risk to infrastructure or third parties. Where feasible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure. You may stop using the service at any time.

12. Availability and changes

Unless a separate SLA applies, the service is provided on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis without a specific uptime commitment. Browser engines, third-party websites and networks can change independently. We may modify the service to improve security, reliability or functionality and will use reasonable efforts to avoid materially reducing paid core functionality during an active prepaid term without notice or a reasonable transition where practicable.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScreenshotMCP is provided "as is" and "as available" without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that every target will render accurately, that dynamic content will be complete, or that a capture is suitable as legal, archival or evidentiary proof.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost goodwill or loss of data. Except for liability that cannot lawfully be limited, a party's aggregate liability relating to a paid service is limited to the fees paid or payable for that service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

15. Indemnity for misuse

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend and indemnify the Provider against third-party claims arising from your unlawful capture or use of a target, your lack of authorization, your infringement of third-party rights or your material violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by the Provider.

16. Privacy and data processing

The Privacy Policy describes controller-side processing. Where ScreenshotMCP processes Customer Personal Data on your documented instructions, the Data Processing Addendum applies and is incorporated into these Terms.

17. Governing terms and updates

Mandatory law remains unaffected. A governing-law or venue provision in a signed order controls. If none is agreed, disputes are governed by the law applicable to the Provider identified on the relevant order, subject to mandatory consumer and data-protection rules. We may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised effective date and will provide additional notice where legally required.

Legal and support requests may be submitted through the support contact shown in the service, order confirmation or purchase receipt. Do not send passwords, API keys or target-site credentials by ordinary email.
